|1951||Broadcaster||This guitar has a feature typical for Broadcasters of the early weeks of 1951. Most of the Broadcaster and Esquire guitars produced in that time period have a body made of quarter sawn ash. The grain is very straight and looks very much like spruce. These guitars are easy to identify and were only produced for a few weeks. This guitar was refinished at Fender in 1954 so the color is more Blonde than Butterscotch.

|1961||Jazz Bass||Worn original stack knob bass with fine provenance.
This bass was the main instrument of noted Tulsa musician Bill Raffensperger who played with JJ Cale, Leon Russell and Eric Clapton among others.
The pots are from 1984 but one of the original stack pots is included dating from 1961.

Lower bout 16 1/4 inches upper bout 12 inches body length 20 inches body depth 4 1/2 inches it is an unusual size. This guitar was rescued from the Chinery collection.
